Having hustled the most of Saturday sorting and formatting pictures and videos (still doing so), and editing videos, I’d forgotten to publish the most basic of coverages: POSTING INSTAGRAMMED PICS!
And if you folks have not been following my deludge on the @toysrevil IG, HERE is a quick look at what I saw at the 2017 Edition of C3 ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA (Continued Coverage #onTOYSREVIL) on Friday November 24th, whereby it will exhibit thru the weekend and end on Sunday Nov 26th at 7:00PM!

TOYS GALORE! Predominently focused on “character” collectibles, “realistic” action figures, statues and play-sets ruled the landscape, with absolutely zero BE@RBRICKS, or sofubi kaiju etc - just anime/film/tv-related products, and personally that works for me fine! Didn’t score as much toys as I did artwork from Creator’s Hub (equivalent of “Artist Alley”), but that’s another post altogether … meanwhile, here are just some which caught my eye (of course there’ll be MORE to come!)
If I were more a hardcore fan... if I had more $$& ... #Bandai does #Sanrio characters as #shfiguarts toys FTW! Spotted at #C3afasg17 C3 #animefestivalasia at Suntec City Convention Center (Nov 24-26). All on sale at the Bandai booth! SG$25 per, entire set of 8 for $200 Singapore dollars! If I had a Girlfriend who lived Sanrio, THIS would be her Christmas present(s) #juzsayin hahahaha #toysrevilc3afasg17
With my personal unfortunate encounter (or lack thereof) the food situation at the recent STGCC, seeing a “Food Street” at C3AFA was a treat1 And while I did not partake of the food (I knew it would be a hassle to get food alone and eating alone *sob*), I nevertheless walked down the street, and soaked in the smells hahahahaha
Japan’s 88-Site Anime Pilgrimage Announced! Chanced upon this and will be showcasing slightly more in time … but what a wonderful otaku-adventure to be had! LOL
Most of my time and money spent in the Creators Hub (AKA “Artist Alley”), and of course there’ll be a separate post for this! LOL … meanwhile, I’ve some still-images since uploaded in THIS dedicated album on the TOYSREVIL-Facebook!
My second favourite booth at C3AFA: “MOFY”!
My favourite booth at #C3AG+FAsg17 is the Domo NHK booth - featuring a display of the actual puppets used in their NEW stop-motion series! This was personally such a treat for me, more than just “selling” something, the booth as well showcased behind-the-scenes making of the stop-mo video, photography and eve a time capsule! AND the introduction of a new FEMALE DOMO! (Kinda regretted not taking a pic with the mascot … too shy to ask :p). Much more images and video to come!
Kinda regret not scoring a painted kitsune mask too …but then again, I asked myself ”Do I Really Need A Mask?” … when in reality we don’t “NEED” anything, we just WANT them, and that’s ok when you can afford it :)
Good Job this year, AFA!
Grateful for your consideration of TOYSREVIL & invite - y’all a truly CLASS ACT!
So, how was DAY ONE for YOU? :)
