In a serendipitous intro and chat, we were regaling about the anime we were both watching, with her mentioning Tokyo Ghoul Season 1 (which I adored), and of my negative response to Series 2 (which I deplored), which then led to me attempting to introduce - and pronounce - "BLOOD BATTLEFRONT BLOCKADE", whose Japanese title I knew as “Kekkai Sensen”.
I doubt if the introduction translated well, (thanks loud thumping Japanese dance music in the other side of the haaaaaaall), but nevertheless I left that conversation intrigued at what anime exactly would I actually introduce to folks?
In the past, someone had asked me to introduce anime that did not feature “giant robots”, and well, it had been something I’d wanted to indulge in, as opposed to me being an expert on such affairs LOL
I dare claim instead to be an “expert” on what anime “I LIKE”, so onwards with the list!… Well, as soon as I can find time to cobble up a list instead of re-watching anime LOL

No, we didn't "exchanged numbers" or "email addresses" or anything like that - this post is not about that at all! It's just about a shared moment of geeking-out, and in an event like toycon, is exactly what I'd imagine this geek-life to be, not the mass wholesale of products to be bought and owned, IMHO. But that's just me :)
