SYNOPSIS: "The anime film adapts the Osaka arc of the manga which begins the story a teenager named Kei Kurono and his friend Masaru Kato who die in a train accident but are transported to a semi-posthumous/purgatory game where they meet other recently deceased individuals and are forced to hunt down aliens to earn points. It's later revealed that the entire ordeal is part of a larger, extraterrestial conflict wherein alien technology was sent to Earth by a benelovent species in an attempt to help humanity fend off an impending attack from a conquering race currently headed to the planet."
