The "past" makes a very surprising "return" with exciting story developments in #worldtrigger #anime Ep65, and you'll appreciate the references to earlier episodes that helps further enrich this series, IMHO. Gosh but am I excited to carry on with this! TRIGGER-ON! #animewatch #inototaku

Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster

For years, I have vaguely remembered this particular weekly anime, whereby there were four giant robots (with human pilots within, of course), but what made them "different" from the other giant robots cartoons, was that they wielded weapons, like battle axes and mace! Other than just "swords", I mean :p The name(s) is/are " Blocker Corp Machine Blaster " (ブロッカー軍団Ⅳマシーンブラスター) … also " Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster " … also known as " Tempe Asoka Robot Bergabung " in Malay, and " Striker Force " in the Philippines! I knew Marcus had blogged about (that's where I knew the "name"!), and I knew if ever I had stated an anime/otaku-bog, I would def blog about it, and here we are! True story :) I remembered watching them on the Malaysian channel TV3 in the early evenings (around before dinner time before the sun set) and I could not understand a single word they were saying, because they were dubbed in Malay!

"The Grimm Variations" Anime Coming to Netflix

SYNOPSIS: Once upon a time, brothers Jacob and Wilhelm collected fairy tales from across the land and made them into a book. They also had a much younger sister, the innocent and curious Charlotte, who they loved very much. One day, while the brothers were telling Charlotte a fairy tale like usual, they saw that she had a somewhat melancholy look on her face. She asked them, "Do you suppose they really lived happily ever after?" The pages of Grimms' Fairy Tales, written by Jacob and Wilhelm, are now presented from the unique perspective of Charlotte, who sees the stories quite differently from her brothers. "Grimms' Fairy Tales" get a bold reboot, with character concepts by CLAMP, screenplay by Michiko Yokote, music by Akira Miyagawa, and animation by WIT Studio . Intrigued since my earlier Japan Anima(tor) Expo blog-post , I'd researched slightly deeper into the lore and history of "GRIDMAN", with the 2015 version animated the 1993-94's television live-action version! And if the blinking chest-light is reminiscent of Ultraman's abilities, it's because the program producers are ne and the same; Tsuburaya Productions! WHAT-IS: "Denkou Choujin Gridman (電光超人グリッドマン Denkō Chōjin Guriddoman?), translated into English as Lightning Superman Gridman, is a Japanese tokusatsu "Giant Hero" series created by Tsuburaya Productions, the producers of Ultraman.
