"Hammerhead" by Ōtarō Maijō & Mahiro Maeda (for #JapanAnimatorExpo)

WARNING: GORE AHEAD “ Hammerhead ” is the name of this animation short, as seen in Japan Animator Expo (Ep #25). Done by Ōtarō Maijō & Mahiro Maeda - which depicts the gruesome fate of the unkillable “superhero/supervillain” known as “Hammerhead”, and of his connection to his teenage daughter. *"HAMMER HIM DEAD." I beg you, please hit, crush, and kill him.* A really “interesting” scenario, especially with the proliferation of super-powered characters - both “hero” and designated “villain” in this pop culture generation. Coupled with the extreme gore, this would make an exceptionally welcomed, especially in this era of “One Punch Man”, not seen since the early 90s, IMHO. Originally announced as part of the second season lineup; "Hammerhead" had since been taken out of the theatrical exhibition lineup after online release (Info via Wiki ).

Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster

For years, I have vaguely remembered this particular weekly anime, whereby there were four giant robots (with human pilots within, of course), but what made them "different" from the other giant robots cartoons, was that they wielded weapons, like battle axes and mace! Other than just "swords", I mean :p The name(s) is/are " Blocker Corp Machine Blaster " (ブロッカー軍団Ⅳマシーンブラスター) … also " Blocker Gundan 4 Machine Blaster " … also known as " Tempe Asoka Robot Bergabung " in Malay, and " Striker Force " in the Philippines! I knew Marcus had blogged about (that's where I knew the "name"!), and I knew if ever I had stated an anime/otaku-bog, I would def blog about it, and here we are! True story :) I remembered watching them on the Malaysian channel TV3 in the early evenings (around before dinner time before the sun set) and I could not understand a single word they were saying, because they were dubbed in Malay!...

“GIRL” by Hibiki Yoshizaki (for #JapanAnimatorExpo) Slightly NSFW

“GIRL” is the 31st episode in Animatorexpo.com , which essentially is a music video for songs "Samishii Kamisama" and "Yumemiteta no Atashi", performed by Daoko , with anime directed by Hibiki Yoshizaki (who also did Teddyloid’s "ME!ME!ME!" - hence the slightly NSFW-anime), co-written with Hideya Kojima. The characters of "ME!ME!ME!" appear at the end of the short. ENJOY!
