Born April 5, 1955, he was aged 68 when he passed away on March 1, 2024. His legacy remains as bright as his fictional Dragon Ball(s), shining as a beacon to fans and fellow creators around the globe.

Along with being the creator of Dragon Ball, the late Akira Toriyama was also a veracious illustrator, with images featured here of his vehicular, dinosaur and mecha designs (many of whom include his character creations for "Dr Slump"), to celebrate his art. #RIPAKIRATORIYAMA
