Eggcited about the opening of Singapore's Gudetama cafe? Winnie Goh from Channel News Asia tells us what's on the menu in this video, and you can make your way to Suntec City yourselves to give it a try, for when the Gudetama Cafe opens on November 30th!
"The cafe is a collaboration between homegrown brands Joe & Dough and The Soup Spoon, and its menu will feature, among others, 10 main dishes, four sides and five desserts - all inspired by scenes from the Gudetama character." (reported channelnewsasia.com / still images via)
From the launch event we have plenty of video features for the cafe, including the CNA video above, and more featured below! Gawds but I want to try the desserts! LOL
AND, if you are a hardcore fan (I’ve only got gachas and a EZLink card lol), you can even take a Gudetama-themed flight on EVA Air that operates between Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport on 24 November. (No, I won’t judge you, but I would LOVE to hear your experience with it!!!) … well, so much for flying to Singapore to try out the cafe in an all-out Gudetama-experience! :p
STORY: "The story goes that Gudetama had hopped on a plane to our sunny island one day and stumbled upon a food playground with a beautiful garden – a place that seems to have started him cooking delicious dishes.
Gudetama doesn’t really care about many things but he does care about his food. In his kitchen, the food is freshly prepared using quality and natural ingredients without any MSG and preservatives. There’s always something for everyone from the variety of great tasting, wholesome fare and handcrafted beverages."
